As an Admitted Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, I provide legal drafting, research, and opinion-writing services in both litigation and advisory contexts. My practice involves preparing comprehensive legal opinions, pleadings, and heads of argument, as well as consulting with clients and attorneys to develop effective legal strategies. Through this work, I have gained experience across a range of public and private law areas, developing strong analytical and interpretive skills applicable to commercial and regulatory matters. While my primary focus is on opinion work and litigation preparation, I also engage in legal analysis relevant to business law, compliance, and governance. Areas of specialisation include: Corporate and Commercial Law – drafting and interpreting contracts, company documents, and commercial agreements; analysing issues under the Companies Act. Financial Regulatory and Compliance Law – researching obligations under the FSRA, FICA, and related governance frameworks; supporting attorneys with compliance assessments. Tax Law – currently completing an LLM in Tax Law at the University of Johannesburg, focusing on corporate tax, financial regulation, and group restructuring. Data Privacy and Protection Law – interpreting and applying the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA); advising on privacy compliance and policy drafting. Competition Law – analysing restrictive practices, merger control, and dominance issues under the Competition Act. Employment and Labour Law – advising on procedural fairness, workplace compliance, and employment disputes under the LRA and BCEA. Administrative and Constitutional Law – researching statutory interpretation and administrative justice principles; preparing opinions on procedural and constitutional compliance. General Civil Litigation – drafting pleadings, motions, and legal submissions; advising on contractual enforcement and dispute resolution strategies.

As a Pupil Advocate, I am gaining invaluable experience under the mentorship of senior advocates, honing my legal skills and gaining hands-on exposure to a variety of legal practices. My responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, assisting with case preparation, and participating in client consultations. I observe court proceedings, gaining practical insight into the dynamics of litigation, trial strategies, and courtroom procedures. Additionally, I actively contribute to the development of legal arguments, case analysis, and preparation for both civil and criminal trials, working closely with senior advocates to build effective strategies. Through this role, I am developing key skills in advocacy, client communication, legal research, and legal writing, preparing for the demands of a successful career at the Bar.

As a Direct Sales Consultant at Fidelity ADT, I was responsible for marketing and selling a range of security products and services to both residential and commercial clients. My duties included assessing clients' properties to identify security risks and suggesting tailored solutions that met their specific needs. By liaising with suppliers and clients, I ensured that each customer received personalized service and timely, effective solutions. I also followed up on client queries to provide excellent after-sales support and resolve any concerns promptly. Staying up-to-date with the latest security products and trends was crucial to ensuring that I offered clients the most current and reliable solutions. My role also involved handling office administration, maintaining records, and assisting with the smooth operation of the sales process.

As a Sales Consultant at South African Debt Management Group, I played a key role in assisting clients with debt management solutions, offering tailored financial advice to individuals facing financial challenges. My responsibilities included conducting detailed consultations, assessing clients' financial situations, and recommending personalized debt relief options, such as debt consolidation and restructuring. I developed strong rapport with clients, guiding them through complex financial decisions and ensuring they fully understood their available options. In addition to driving sales and meeting performance targets, I was also responsible for educating clients about financial literacy, empowering them to make informed decisions that would lead to long-term financial stability. My role involved maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service, addressing concerns, and following up to ensure successful debt resolution.

As a vacation student, I was responsible for conducting in-depth legal research on a variety of cases, analyzing precedents, statutes, and relevant legal frameworks to assist senior attorneys in case preparation. I actively participated in client meetings, observing legal strategy discussions while providing administrative support. I assisted in the preparation of cases, including drafting and reviewing legal documents such as pleadings and other formal legal communications. Additionally, I had the opportunity to observe court trials, gaining practical insight into litigation strategies and courtroom procedures. My role also involved contributing to the drafting and refinement of legal documents, further honing my legal writing skills while ensuring they aligned with case objectives and legal standards.

I Graduated with an LLB degree which i achieved with 13 Distinctions. As a Task Team Member, I supported first- and second-year law students academically and provided career guidance, ensuring student grievances were communicated to UNISA management. I also facilitated programs mandated by the UNISA Law Clinic, fostering student development and access to practical legal resources. As a Facilitator for the Community Street Law Programme, I organized workshops to educate marginalized communities on key legal topics such as employment, domestic, succession, maintenance, and debt counseling. These sessions empowered participants with accessible legal information tailored to their needs. As Treasurer of the Black Lawyers Association Student Chapter, I managed budgets, financial reporting, banking, and record-keeping while coordinating events, outreach programs, and professional networking opportunities.

Completed the Business Communication course at UNISA, which provided a solid foundation in professional communication strategies essential for workplace success. The program covered key areas such as crafting business documents, enhancing verbal and non-verbal communication, and leveraging digital tools for effective interaction. It emphasized practical skills for clear and persuasive messaging, teamwork, and relationship building in diverse professional environments. This training has equipped me with the ability to navigate complex communication challenges and contribute meaningfully to organizational goals.
