Following Qualcomm’s acquisition of Arduino, I have transitioned into the role of Senior Engineer, maintaining my dual focus on firmware development and developer relations activities.

I act as a bridge between the engineering team and the community, creating tutorials, hosting workshops, and presenting at events. I work closely with the marketing team to showcase innovations, engage users, and gather feedback to improve products.

In the Engineering team, I develop core functionalities and libraries for boards, contributing to both new products and the maintenance of existing ones. I collaborate with the content team to ensure clear and high-quality documentation for users.

Italian Embedded is a community that connects professionals and companies working with embedded systems in Italy. As a Community Builder, I organize events and networking initiatives, helping professionals and companies connect and share expertise. My goal is to strengthen the community by encouraging knowledge exchange and long-term collaboration. As a Content Creator, I create and manage technical and community-focused content for our LinkedIn page. I plan the editorial calendar, design engaging posts, and coordinate with community members to feature their contributions and promote their work.

In the e-mobility division, I am responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining hardware and software systems to meet product requirements. I also provide mentorship for the embedded software team on an ad-hoc basis, while maintaining focus on system-level activities. Main tasks: - Gathering and drafting of the system requirements, interacting with technical and product areas - Analyzing and writing software requirements and architecture (Embedded Software, Mobile App, Backend, and Frontend) based on system requirements - Ensuring traceability between software and system requirements and managing documentation - Preparing software, system, and HW-SW integration testing procedures, collaborating with test and Q&A areas - Estimating software development and testing times

In the e-mobility division, I am responsible for the embedded firmware development team (1 direct report) and the embedded algorithm/software development team (1 direct report). I was involved in the development of a new line of products for the light electric vehicle (LEV) market. I'm 50% hands-on, and 50% on designing, planning, and tutoring.

Zehus is an innovative and Italian company that produces powertrain for light electric vehicles (LEV). I am involved in the development of Bitride Bikesharing: the first worldwide hybrid free-floating bikesharing and on the second generation of Zehus All In One (AIO) flagship product. Main tasks: - Firmware development for ARM-based (Nordic nRF52 SoC), Freescale (MC56F84xx DSC) and PowerPC (ST SPC5) microcontrollers. - Modelling SW logic and control algorithm using Matlab, Simulink & Stateflow (Automatic generation of C code from model, using Embedded Coder). - Development of PC tools (Visual Studio C#, Python, Batch script) for production, test and quality check purposes.

I was part of the Electronic&Electrical R&D department of a company that produces lubrication systems for industry market. I worked on complex systems for the Industrial Internet of Things (IOT) with Touch TFT display, most common communication interfaces (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, Ethernet ...) and Industrial fieldbuses (Profinet, ...). I helped company to get in Industry 4.0 market, contributing to the development of a series of new products, equipped with microcontroller and Wireless connectivity (BLE & Wi-Fi). Main tasks: - Firmware development for STM32 32-bit ARM Cortex-M microcontroller (STM34F407/437xx). - Project management support. - Drawing up of project documentation and manuals. - Review of electronic circuit schemes. - Development of PC tools (Visual Studio C#, Python, Batch script) for production, test and quality check purposes.

I focused my studies on Embedded Systems, with particular attention on Firmware development and FPGA programming.
