The beginning of 2012 was preoccupied with the conceptualization of what kind of business we would undertake. We decided to enter into the food cart business and as we had no experience in this new endeavor, we scouted for franchisers to be partners. We decided to go for Filtrepreneur’s “Pinoy Pao and O’ Noodles” and opened our first food cart stall at Gate 3 Plaza Mall last quarter of 2012. Our first store at Gate 3 Plaza did not make good hence we stopped operations after six months, the end of our lease contract. We also entered into a franchise agreement with Asia Pacific Global Franchise & Co. for “Hongkong Style Noodles and Dimsum” in December 21, 2012 and worked out the deployment of our food cart stall at Expert Global Solutions (EGS) Call Center at the Mezza Residences in Quezon City last February 2013 as their food concessionaire under a six-month renewable Food Service Agreement.

With only one staff and outside support from service providers in payroll, accounts payable and tax compliance Liaise with the banks, external auditors, the BIR and other governmental bodies. The People Soft GL System – a partially integrated and interconnected computerized system, support the finance operation.

Reporting directly to the President/CEO, handles four departments – the Accounting, Treasury, Credit & Collection, Procurement and Inventory composing of six staff. Handles corporate finance and responsible for financial reporting and analysis, general ledger maintenance, treasury and cash management, credit and collection, accounts payable, cost accounting, variance analysis, budgeting and cost control, tax management, asset management and compliance to government and statutory reporting requirements. Liaise with the banks, external auditors, the BIR and other governmental bodies. Oversees operations, personnel and general services function. The Quick Books Pro 2014 Accounting System – a partially integrated and interconnected computerized accounting system comprising of billing and collection, cash disbursement and check payment and support the finance operation.
