Work for Calphalon GBU. 1. Process RFI/RFQ, negotiate price and terms with supplier. 2. New product development, lead sourcing engineer, SQE on new product development, make sure project launched on-cost, on-time and on-quality. 3. Achieve year over year productivity to meet company goals by cost based negotiation, rebate program, LEAN, VA/VE, lead time reduction etc. 4. Study suppliers' cost structure, drive productivity plan and establish risk mitigation plan. 5. Evaluate, measure and report supplier performance metrics and scorecard. 6. Collaborate on the development and implement of global sourcing strategies. 7. Search and qualify new supplier.

Work for Levolor-Kirsch GBU. 1. Work with both US team and supplier for the product design,review drawings making sure the producibility. 2. Closely monitor tooling development milestones and ensure timely completion in required quality. 3. Conduct VA/VE, lean activities at supplier to achieve productivity goals. 4. Support on supplier capability assessment on cost, technical, production and quality.
