As part of the Operations Management Project course, our team collaborated with Canatu to translate abstract supply chain risk theory into a practical, actionable tool. The objective was to enhance Canatu’s supply chain management and procurement by developing and piloting a custom Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) model. To ensure robustness, the work combined extensive literature reviews with in-depth interviews, incorporating insights from both academic professors and Canatu’s internal experts. The project resulted in a working SCRM model and a successful pilot that enabled clear visualization of risk-related data. Through this effort, theoretical understanding of SCRM was transformed into a comprehensive model with numerous parameters, while also providing valuable experience in end-to-end project execution, from initial research to final presentation.
