Lena Papadopoulos

As a first-generation American raised by immigrant parents, I grew up in a volatile environment surrounded by addiction and abuse, battled depression, and lost my closest friend to suicide as a teen. These experiences sparked my commitment to create a world of safety and belonging for all. I later immersed myself in intercultural communities, studied religious-based war and conflict in graduate school, and confronted my own white saviorism in Tanzania. It became clear the change I wanted to make in the world needed to account for global systems of oppression.  Over time, I noticed a pattern in the places and spaces I’d occupied, which led me to one of my current core beliefs: the division between us is a reflection of the disconnect within us. My life’s mission is to address that disconnection. Now, I work with heart-led, purpose-driven visionaries and changemakers who are here to lead a revolutionary movement for a more just world. I have nearly 20 years of experience facilitating transformative processes that bring awareness to cultural conditioning and unconscious biases so folks can break free of fear and shame, dissolve divisive beliefs and patterns, and build bridges toward inclusion and belonging. I’ve facilitated dozens of leadership development programs around the world to help leaders with big visions and important missions cultivate the clarity, confidence, and courage to answer their calling and pursue their purpose with integrity and in congruence with their convictions. My signature leadership framework addresses the root cause of self-suppression and systemic oppression and offers a trauma-informed, human-centered approach to personal and collective liberation. I am uniquely gifted at illuminating unconscious beliefs and patterns, identifying the connections between seemingly unrelated concepts, and uncovering the root cause of any challenge. My approach is a unique blend of my background in sociology, psychology, cultural anthropology, intercultural education, leadership development, life coaching, and evolutionary astrology.
