Joined the team on a temporary contract to procure components and services for the rail industry. I ensured the factory has the right material at the right price and the right time. Worked to a just in time delivery strategy, maintaining low stock levels and the maximum output of products to customers. In addition to procurement, I also facilitated the migration from an in-house MRP system to SAP.

Provided administration support on a one-to-one basis to Steven Walker, a personal finance advisor, founder of the company and principal practitioner.

Partnered with the buyer and associate buyer within homestyle departments Kitchen & Food (14 months) and Home Decor and Gifts (14 months). Identified and sourced products for TV retail. I had the unique opportunity to watch product sell live on air in real time and react accordingly in a quick, dynamic and adaptable way to maximise sales and profit.

Department Lingerie Wholly responsible for buying multipack briefs. Working with the designer to develop prints. Negotiate all costing with suppliers ensuring the range achieves margin and profit targets contributing to a positive increase of the overall lingerie department margin.
