Provide information, referrals and practical assistance to clients experiencing domestic violence. Provide crisis intervention and emotional support. Work collaboratively with domestic violence officers in order to effectively provide assistance to victims. Conduct home visits with domestic violence officers to high risk families, collect data, track the history of violence and prepare monthly statistics. Advocate with the family and criminal court staff for clients. Coordinate community resources for domestic violence victims. Conduct police trainings and community presentations. Attend relevant training, workshops and seminars and perform other related tasks as assigned

Provided direct services to victims of domestic abuse and their children including crisis intervention, safety planning, counseling, advocacy, parenting support, information and referrals. Facilitate cooperative living, peer support and residents participation in shelter . Perform routine chores and tasks to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the shelter
