* Developed and led the first ever winter break trip at the University of Georgia that traveled to Savannah, GA focused on Homelessness & Poverty. * Coordinated all aspects of a spring break trip to Orlando, FL focused on Children's Issues. * Underwent intensive training regarding communication, servant leadership, diversity, active citzenship, and professionalism.

* Delivered presentations on the College’s academic programs, general education requirements, and important University policies to groups of 10-20 students throughout the summer orientation * Advised approximately 85 first-year and transfer students in 1-on-1 appointments regarding course selection and registration procedures; provided continued support * Evaluated transcripts, AP, IB, and CLEP scores to provide accurate course recommendations * Referred students to campus resources such as study abroad, tutoring, and student organizations * Gained experience navigating the Banner system from both student and staff perspectives, and maintained organized records of student appointments in GradesFirst

* Coordinate, advertise, and lead 5-6 trips and events per semester for short-term exchange students, sponsored students, and scholars * Assist professional staff with Passport to UT, a full week of orientation programming for 350+ new international students in the fall and 100+ international students in the spring * Conduct assessment of satisfaction with programs through surveys; implement changes for future programs * Work closely with student groups and faculty members to plan and implement campus cultural weeks, global issue weeks, an international festival, and an international dance competition * Manage an annual event budget of $7,000 and document all programming expenses * Aid in the interviewing, selection, training, and supervision of a 10-person student assistant staff * Develop and sustain positive relationships with faculty, staff, and off-campus vendors * Advance office communication by creating a bi-monthly newsletter, maintaining a Facebook page with over 2,000 “likes,” and improving usability of official university website

* Coordinate all volunteer sites and transportation for 400+ students for the office’s annual Clifton M. Jones Leadership Conference and Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service * Teach a spring seminar course focused on servant leadership and social justice; prepare and lead reading discussions, team building exercises, and reflection activities * Advise a group of students in the development and editing of an office newsletter designed to strengthen communication with community partners * Work with professional staff to create and implement a roundtable event for community partners
