Development of new functionality for an Oracle 10g web-based application. Development of 7 forms and 2 reports 100% generated using Oracle Designer 10g and Headstart 10g Utilities, Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports 10g. Creation and generation of business rules and CAPI’s using Designer 10g and Headstart Created and modified tables, triggers, packages, procedures and functions in PL/SQL using Designer 10g and TOAD. Sole development responsibility for the module.

Support and development for a logistics application which manages a warehouse to supermarket product information system for large supermarket chains throughout eastern Europe using Oracle Forms 4.5 unix-based front end on an Oracle 8 database. Support and development of Pro C scripts to load and process data. Development of procedures for implementing version control across several client development sites to manage parallel development.

Developed new and enhanced existing Financial reports for Flight Centre Corporate using Oracle Designer 9i and Developer 9i. Wrote packages and procedures for forms and reports and back end triggers using PL/SQL, TOAD and SQLPlus8.0 Developed and enhanced Forms and Reports using Forms 9 and Reports 9 Used Designer 9i to generate new forms and reports Wrote interface procedures between separate databases in PL/SQL Met with customers to ascertain their requirments and developed technical specifications from customer requirements.

Provided application support for a Europe-wide user-base on a global intranet-based telecommunications cable provisioning system. The application had a Java based front-end on an Oracle 8 back-end. Solved user problems with data integrity, the database and the application. Carried out minor database administration tasks. Solved application issues by debugging Java code using Borland JBuilder 2.0 Administered U.S.A based servers using Netscape Application Server. Used TOAD extensively for development, optimisation and support purposes.

Rebuild of an existing character-based system for the Queensland Cancer Registry from Oracle Forms 6i, Reports 6i and sql-based reports and data loads to a web-based gui system, 100% generated using Oracle Designer 9i, Forms 9i and Reports 9i. This involved the redevelopment of 50 forms and 50 reports from Oracle 6i into Designer 9i. I had sole analysis and development responsibility on this project for the last 3 months of development. Met with customers on a regular basis to ascertain their exact requirements. Created tables,triggers, views, packages, libraries, procedures and functions in PL/SQL using Designer 9i and TOAD. Made modifications to the existing Conceptual Schema to meet new requirements. Wrote and modified back-end unix scripts (ksh) for batch processing.
