Provide thought leadership, strategy, and expertise for SAP’s Digital Supply Chain Planning solutions, with a focus on advanced algorithms, AI/ML, product direction, and customer engagement. Mentor and develop data scientists to drive innovation and excellence. Lead AI and GenAI research initiatives, exploring new approaches to algorithm design, explainability, and automation in supply chain planning.

Responsible for product roadmap and direction for supply chain algorithm library which supports inventory optimization, demand sensing, and demand-driven MRP processes within SAP integrated business planning

Responsible for supply chain algorithm library on SAP HANA which supports inventory optimization and demand sensing processes within the integrated business planning

Constructing supply chain algorithms (application function library) and applications on SAP HANA.

Lead co-innovation engagements with customers, define and prioritize the product backlog, work with the scrum team to build inventory optimization algorithms supporting advanced features.

- Design algorithm architecture to support solution procedures for inventory optimization, service level optimization, and other supply chain management applications. - Participate in the deployment of SmartOps’ solutions to customers across a wide range of industries and in sales activities.

Roles and Responsibilities: • Define algorithm architecture to support required solution calculations to complex real-world supply-chain problems • Ensure consistency, completeness, accuracy, and efficiency of all algorithms • Design, document, and prototype supporting algorithms • Collaborate with software engineers to aid with implementation and testing of the algorithms • Lead the process of developing acceptance criteria and test plans to perform algorithm validation and ensure the satisfaction of business and software requirements Qualifications: • Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory planning • Knowledge of stochastic modeling, statistics, and simulation • Demonstrated ability to design algorithmic solutions to complex planning problems • Excellent writing and communication skills • Ability to interact effectively with software engineers and product management
