As part of my Capstone Project with HARMAN International, I contributed by leveraging data analytics to enhance supply chain processes. Using PySpark, SQL, and Python, I processed extensive datasets that provided actionable insights, enabling procurement teams to prioritize critical areas. My work included mapping customer demand to BOM data, which significantly improved visibility into supply chain risks.

At Oracle, I worked on the Trade Portal Suite of applications — a distributed platform enabling real-time order processing and trade management across U.S. and U.K. markets. The systems processed millions of financial transactions daily, demanding high availability, low latency, and fault tolerance. Key Contributions: Designed and implemented distributed backend systems in Java/Spring Boot, supporting seamless trade execution with sub-second response times. Built and optimized RESTful microservices, defining robust API contracts and database models for high-throughput workflows. Engineered event-driven pipelines using Apache Kafka (communication backbone) and IBM MQ, improving reliability and reducing message latency by 20%. Implemented concurrency controls (Semaphore-based batching) to stabilize high-volume workloads, doubling system reliability and preventing thread exhaustion during month-end peaks. Developed Services, integrating multiple data sources via REST APIs and database stored procedures for efficient report generation. Migrated services from Sybase to Oracle DB and refactored schemas, improving maintainability, scalability, and performance. Enhanced observability and fault tolerance by embedding structured logging, CI/CD pipelines, and Autosys-based scheduling, reducing incident resolution time by 50%. Collaborated across global teams (BAs, DB engineers, QA, UI) in Agile sprints, ensuring timely and high-quality production releases.
