Setting up raw material (Crude Palm Oil and Processed Palm Oil) platform for the newly acquired palm oil refinery in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia.

Responsible for trading platform development. New business orientation and breakthrough the company local business mindset to international trade.

I am responsible for Business Development for Edible Oils and Fats for international market for the company which my expertise is in Palm Oil. I am in-charge for Eraworld Marketing Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Erapoly which our main market is in Africa and Middle East Region. We export palm oil and fats (Shortening and margarine) and various packaging size via container to destination. We are maintaining exports 200 - 300 fcls monthly since I m taking over in Apr 2020. With working capital of RM2 million, we able to achieve revenue of RM155 million in year 2020 and gross profit of RM7.685 million. For year 2021, total revenue achieved at RM128.6 million while gross profit reduced to RM4.027 million affected by record high container freight. My role is also covering in staff training, profit and expenses budgeting, freight chartering, assuring all payment receivable is performing, commodity price and forex hedging. Aside of palm oil products, I am also assisting in development of trades for Sweetened Condensed Milk, Evaporated Milk, Desiccated Coconut Milk Powder and Animal feeds products.

My position report to Senior General Manager, Finance of the Group is to assist in developing marketing strategy for Hap Seng Plantations for certify Sustainable Palm Oil and Palm Kernel via direct export market and local refinery. More than 65% of the group Crude Palm Oil were direct export to oversea to achieve higher premium for the Certified Palm Oil. Assist in monitoring delivery/sales contract fulfillment and palm oil mill performance. Second role, to develop marketing strategy for consumer packed cooking oil for Hap Seng Edible Oils Pte Ltd and Wintercorn Malaysia Sdn Bhd. I m place with full responsibilities to develop sales, trading, hedging and procurements for oils & fats and packaging materials. Export sales for Hap Seng Edible Oils and Wintercorn Malaysia from below 200 fcls per month in 2017 grow to above 700 fcls monthly in 2018/2019 with record high at 1,039 fcls a month.

My role is to develop marketing strategy for the company with is the 5th largest palm oil plantation company in Malaysia with total more than 150,000 hectares planted area and 11 palm oil mills. Full responsible to perform sales and marketing the production of Crude Palm Oil, Palm Kernel, Palm Acid Oil and Palm Kernel shell to maximize company profitability. Also full responsible for logistic planning and stock monitoring for each palm oil mill. Responsible to provide information and commentary pertinent to deliberations, recommending options and courses of action, impending directives toward issue such as off-specification production, slow intake from buyer or specific regions and slow production compared to committed sales. Ensure all sales contract is performed, invoiced and payment well received within credit terms. Provide market analysis, statistic and report to management. To represent company for industry association such as MPOA, PORAM and MEOMA. Able to achieve 7 years in a row to sell Crude Palm Oil and Palm Kernel at above industry average price - Malaysia Palm Oil Board despite majority of Tradewinds Plantation production area at disadvantage area - Sarawak.

Palm Oil Refinery Trader. Responsible to procurement of raw material - Crude Palm Oil for IOI Edible Oils Sdn Bhd in Sabah, Malaysia with capacity of 3,750mt/day, raw materials procurement of RBD Palm Stearin for IOI Oleochemicals and raw materials procurements of refined palm oil for IOI Loders Croklaan USA. Responsible for sales and marketing for bulk processed palm oil for IOI Edible Oils. Specialize in market for India, Japan, Korea, Pakistan and Philippine. Perform futures/physical paper trading and hedging as risk management and enhance profit margin effectiveness. Assist in logistic planning and stock management. Also responsible for bulk sea freight vessel chartering. Provides market analysis, statistics and report in weekly basis.

Assist in preparing Board paper and distribution. Compiling estates and mills reports and summarizing for management report. Maintain reports, statistics and research database. To perform reporting whenever is necessary. Direct channel to broadcast top management and HQ – Hong Kong strategy, culture or any official announcement.

Responsible to market company products – loans and deposits products. Job requirement includes customer evaluation and recommendation for loan applicants. To perform financial requirement documentation – contracts, customers personal documents, financial information and etc. for banking/finance evaluation checklist and supporting. Require to perform daily branch accounts balancing for tellers/front desks services counters. Ensure good relationship with car dealers to ensure revenue for the branch/company.
