• Provide an efficient, effective and customer focused HR service which supports all aspects of an employee’s relationship and engagement with the HR department, including recruitment, terms and conditions of employment, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and policies. • Provide pragmatic HR advice and support employees and managers in relation to individual or team based HR issues connected to HR policies and procedures, absence management and health issues, conduct and capability, discipline and grievance issues and a broad range of employee relations matters. • Analyse and evaluate issues, in particular areas connected to UK employment law, using appropriate data to provide solutions, consequences and recommendations to senior managers to aid decision making. • Manage the effective delivery of internal and external resourcing and recruitment within the EMEA region by providing pragmatic HR advice and support to managers, including the development of job descriptions and selection procedures. • Work with line managers to develop HR planning strategies which consider immediate and near-term staff requirements. • Support the HR Business Partner and provide advice on a full range of HR matters, to ensure the effective management of employees to achieve business needs. • Act as a role model for more junior members of the HR team; working collaboratively to ensure the first line HR service is delivered efficiently and effectively.
