I was hired to lead the comprehensive financial reporting procedures including annual budget planning, economic forecasting, and monthly reporting. Provide supervision and guidance for day-to-day operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and overall finance/accounting functions. I am engaged in strategic assessment of current and future real estate projects alongside the CEO and team. Supervising and directing the finance team, to foster a culture of accountability and excellence in performance. Facilitating ongoing collaboration between EDCEC, the Erie County Redevelopment Authority, and other affiliate organizations across all operational domains.

I was hired into an executive role within a non-profit that supports a contract with the state of Pennsylvania to manage government-subsidized childcare and childcare funding. I play a key role in developing long-term strategic plans for the organization that are aligned with both the organization’s mission and financial goals in addition to partnering closely with peers on the executive team and board of directors regarding strategic and/or financial decisions. I also maintain oversight of multiple functions including contract management, regulatory compliance/governance, auditing, payroll management, and benefits administration. Lastly, I manage a team of five multi-functional team members with a focus on providing one-on-one guidance, monitoring the team’s work quality/productivity, and identifying opportunities for professional development. ➥ Instrumental in overseeing the organization’s contracts which currently include managing childcare grant for the state of Pennsylvania, a professional development management initiative for the state of Pennsylvania, and a contract centered on managing a fingerprinting and identity management system. ➥ Lead accounting and finance functions in addition to holding oversight of several assets including a charitable foundation fund and a for-profit real estate company. ➥ Develop and implement scalable processes related to accounting/finance controls, which has resulted in reducing labor time. ➥ Ensure accurate and timely payments from state of Pennsylvania grant resulting in thousands of payments dispersed annually and requiring consistent auditing and completion of fraud investigations. ➥ Primary point of contact for four entities (two non-profit and two for-profit) in addition to leading the full audit process, requiring building partnerships with external auditors, insurance benefit brokers, and internal payroll and accounting teams. ➥ Manage a commercial property, leasing, maintenance issues, capital improvement plans.

I was promoted into several leadership roles with progressive levels of responsibility and financial oversight. I served as a relationship manager to key business clients in the Erie area which included addressing client’s banking needs and supporting lending operations. Successfully increased annual production by 15% YoY in addition to maintaining low delinquency rates among managed loan accounts. ➥Managed a portfolio of approximately $31MM across 150+ loans. ➥Assessed and analyzed loan applications, evaluated the financial viability of businesses seeking funding, and structured loan packages to meet the bank’s risk tolerance and the client’s needs. ➥Collaborated with businesses, conducted financial due diligence and maintained a comprehensive understanding of market trends. ➥Additional roles held include: Commercial Loan Officer II (2008-2013); Commercial Loan Officer (2005-2008); and Junior Leader (2002-2005)
