I am a recent graduate from Appalachian State University with a B.S. in Computer Science. During my time at App State, I served as an officer for the Women in Computer Science club and was a director for the annual Appalachian State Hackathon, AppalHack. My journey into programming started back in middle school when I joined the programming team for Science Olympiad and built a Simon Says game using Scratch. While I’ve always been passionate about video games, that experience sparked my deeper interest in game development. Over the years, my interests have expanded to include web development, UI/UX design, data science, software engineering, and systems programming and I’m excited to continue exploring and growing in these areas as I move into the next stage of my career.
