Manage the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence

Managed two of three stages of the Aspen Prize by planning and organizing the work. I reformed the application, created evaluation materials, developed informational webinars, and planned and attended site visits. I also improved processes by identifying challenges, soliciting feedback from stakeholders, and working with external experts to develop solutions. Used evidence and findings from projects, interactions with community college leadership through site visits and seminars, and research to inform best practices and disseminate them through publications, case studies, and blog posts.

Designed an eight-month-long webinar series by developing learning goals and curriculum to strengthen community college and university relationships, transfer pathways, and student outcomes. Managed the Aspen Prize award ceremony viewed virtually by 2,000 individuals and designed content on community college practices to announce the winner of a $1 million prize. I coordinated with external experts and vendors to create content for the event.

Drafted written materials for policymakers including briefs, memos and blog posts on college and career readiness and postsecondary education access with a focus on underserved youth Organized events including Capitol Hill Forums, discussion groups and site visits for federal, state, and local policymakers on secondary education, experiential learning, and equity

Researched, organized, and authored a 30-page report on the opportunities digital technologies can provide for increasing gender equality in education and employment in Latin America

Drafted a grant proposal on implementing financial literacy lessons in primary school classrooms Wrote a literature review on the impact of mobile learning on university education

Researched and drafted on national frameworks, government tools and case studies of policies on the access to and affordability of post-secondary education

Researched and drafted the causes and consequences of labour market informality in Latin American countries Collected and analyzed Peru household survey data using STATA to depict the relationship between the level of education, worker productivity and informal employment as well as the impact of informality on social benefits and working conditions Drafted a section on vocational education and training (VET) programs in Latin America through data collection and analysis and provided recommendations for improvement

Co-developed, designed, and drafted the Trends Shaping Education 2016 publication by collecting and analyzing long-term trend data on economic, social, political, technological and demographic indicators on pre-primary to tertiary education Participated in expert meetings, designed and lead brainstorming sessions and presented the final report and conclusions to 30 members of the Trade Union and Advisory Committee (TUAC) to the OECD Authored the Israel Country Note for the Education at a Glance 2015 publication

• Evaluated impact of the Exchange of Information tax treaties on foreign deposits • Analyzed and summarize empirical research studies on the impact of tax evasion on developing countries • Updated the OECD tax treaty database and graphs on impact for the Annual Report • Created questionnaire to allow for consistent data collection across 126 jurisdictions
