I am an executive-level professional with more than 25 years of experience in finance, accounting and operations. My most recent position was Vice President of Finance/CFO of Racine, Kenosha and No. Illinois, for the largest health care provider in Wisconsin where I supported hospitals; primary and specialty clinics; ambulatory surgery centers; outpatient rehabilitation sites; and cancer treatment facilities. My areas of experience include administrative leadership; financial planning; variance analysis and reporting; operating and capital budgets; strategic planning; proformas and lookback analysis; and project management. I like a challenge. In my last position, the regional president asked me to step beyond my financial planning and operations comfort level in order to take on the management needs of case management and social work. My experience in these areas was highly hands-on and I was able to build an appreciation for the world of care givers beyond the spreadsheets. I have managed baby boomers and millennials and understand that management is not one-size-fits-all. I emphasize collaborative work teams, but also insist that my team members are able to work effectively autonomously. I make working hard fun and see to it that no matter how challenged we are in the workplace, that there are consistent opportunities to bond and reach our full potential. I’ve learned to appreciate that listening to your team and encouraging feedback goes a long way in overcoming workload challenges, meeting deadlines and growing professionally. Above all, I emphasize customer service, quality of performance and positive financial outcomes.
