Laurie Callsen
Manager, Strategic Communications @ Alberta Cancer Foundation
About
I see myself as a caretaker of people's most generous and precious gift: their stories. I’ve spent more than a decade amplifying and stewarding these storytellers, through speech writing, social media engagement, brand journalism, and video production. I used these skills to dramatically shift the Alberta political scene through the 2015 provincial election when the NDP first came into power; then I was honoured to be the social media voice for Rachel Notley during her time as Premier. Now, I share the stories of people who are changing their lives for the better through the support of United Way programs and funding.
