A leading global chief executive and advisor, Laurie Ann is known for her ability to lead, build and turnaround consumer businesses. Among her many strengths is her ability to manage during times of ambiguity. She is best known as the founding CEO of Spanx, where in only 12 years she grew the company from a startup into a global powerhouse with over a $1B valuation. Most recently she was CEO of Tupperware Brands (NYSE:TUP) where she was charged with leading the company through bankruptcy, securing investors and transitioning to new owners. As CEO of OVME, a medical aesthetics business, she helped VMG Partners transition the founder-led company. Prior was CEO of New Avon for private equity investor Cerberus Capital. At New Avon, she quickly restructured and sold the company to a Korean conglomerate. Earlier she spent a decade at The Coca-Cola Company where she excelled in marketing on prestige customer accounts in food and beverage and in her last role took the IP protection program and led it into a highly profitable worldwide licensing division.
