Covered a diverse range of fashion design elements including creative fashion illustration, digital reference recording, shape and silhouette, colour and fabric recognition, trend and market directions, international client analysis and ethical responsibilities. More specialist computer programmes to develop my own web site and interactive fashion design presentations. Complementary studies dealing with the Fashion Industries focusing on issues in the Global Fashion Industry. In the final year it was more self-directed study throughout a series of highly individual projects. Throughout the year developed a digital portfolio which was to present ideas. Created a portfolio in different media, printed, Web, DVD, garments etc.

Fashion and graphic designer. Researching current fashion trends and attending research trips to foresee designs that will appeal to customers and target markets. Work within a design team to present design ideas and discuss concepts and design direction or work to a specific brief from customers. Sketch initial design ideas and produce front sheets. Use computer-aided design programs to create initial designs, graphic artwork and prints. Select fabrics, embellishments, colours, or style for each garment or accessory to then Tech pack to send to factories to order samples. Oversee the final production of designs by giving sample comments and attending fit sessions.
