Worked in a team-oriented environment to allocate the student's annual fees towards organising and hosting educational and community building events for the student body. What I Did: • Sat on both the Document Review Committee and the Renovations Committee • In cooperation with our 18 members, saw through over 26 Student body wide events to fruition over the course of two semesters • Sat on weekly meetings to approve the allocation of student fees towards student-driven initiatives and proposals • Worked twice a week in "The Cube" - The TWUSA second hand book store service - carrying out transactions and providing excellent customer service to fellow students • Worked twice a week in the Student Association office answering student body questions and instilling a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for fellow students Achievements: • Organised the annual "School of Business Christmas Skate," which hosted 200+ students • Concepted and executed the first annual "Alumni Cafe." This was a networking style event where Business students had the opportunity to engage with Business Faculty Alumni from multiple areas of business to discuss topics such as career opportunities, and general questions on transitioning post-graduation in a relaxed, "cafe-style" environment.
