Laurent Acharian

As the Global Marketing Director for BCG Gamma, the group’s Data science department, I’m in charge of promoting the brand throughout our main territories and to position Gamma across all international digital environment. My role is to develop partnerships with higher education institute, major media outlets & key influencers in order to ensure BCG Gamma becomes the “go to” place for data scientists worldwide and the consultancy firm clients want to work with.

In parallel, I work as an editor for Les Belles Lettres (collection- Entreprises & society) , promoting business authors and topics of interest for the business community. It gives me the opportunity to meet with great talented personalities and to nurture high-level debates.

Driving the marketing agenda of the new Climate & Sustainability practice (commercial impact, content, partnerships, digital presence etc.)

As Marketing Director for France, my role is to create business opportunities for BCG partners and to position the company as the premium brand in our industry. I manage a large talented team working on go-to-business through events, digital media and the press. My primary mission is to build a multichannel strategy to reach out to existing and potential clients in an international environment.

As a speech writer and press manager at PwC, France, I worked directly with the CEO to improve the impact of messages and content. It gave me valuable insight into understanding how the business operates on a global level. Furthermore, and crucially, I developed a very large network in press/agencies and improved my internal & external communication skills (press, digital, events etc.)

As a journalist for the main daily newspaper in terms of distribution (L’Equipe), I developed the requisite vital writing & listening skills. Working for a leading company taught me the importance of being innovative and anticipating new trends. Sport is my passion and I continue to read Sport news avidly and to mentor sportsmen & women at Sciences Po in the “Sportifs de haut niveau network".
