* Authorize drug refills and provided detailed prescription information to pharmacies * Assist physicians with surgeries and non-invasive procedures * Perform pregnancy tests and sends specimens for laboratory testing, administers injections as ordered and other procedures including; 12-lead electrocardiograms, audiometry, pulmonary function tests, ear irrigations and breathing treatments * Perform basic physical assessments * Triage’s patient phone calls and schedule appointments * Liaison between patients and physicians to ensure patient comprehension of treatment plans * Records and updates patients' medical history, vital statistics and test results in medical records * Organize, update and maintain over 200 patient charts * Sound, ethical and independent decision-making ability consistent with medical protocols * Accurately documents all elements of nursing assessment, treatments, medications, discharge instructions and post-discharge care * Utilize strong assessment skills to determine necessary patient care * Measure and record patients' temperature, pulse and blood pressure
