As a registered dietitian and business owner, I blend evidence-based nutrition science with media, writing, and brand consulting. Whether I am ensuring the accuracy of a national campaign or speaking on local television, my goal is to make health information clear, accurate, and accessible. On the editorial side, I am a freelance writer for outlets like Prevention.com, Good Housekeeping, Delish.com, Yahoo, Business Insider, and Eating Well. I also serve as a medical reviewer for Food & Wine. When I am not writing, you can find me acting as a media expert, hosting Satellite Media Tours, presenting at a professional conference or at a press trip, or appearing as a TV guest in Charleston, SC, where I cover food, health, and wellness travel. I also partner directly with food brands to provide strategic direction and consulting. My corporate work includes pitch assistance, event planning for dietitian-facing PR activations, and serving as a spokesperson for food companies and commodity boards. Currently, I manage the Dietitian Collective for Pompeian Olive Oil and work as a fact-checker for MilkPEP to ensure all marketing claims are scientifically accurate. I bring a highly practical perspective to my work: I am a dietitian who actually hates cooking. This helps me connect with audiences who want realistic, evidence-based health tips without spending hours in the kitchen. When I’m off the clock, you’ll probably find me happily binge-watching the creepiest true crime or murder shows (Dexter forever), sipping a warm lemon water (basic, I know), and living the chaos/magic of pre-teen parenting. I am currently taking on new clients and consulting projects. Provide clinical nutrition coverage on an as-needed basis while I was raising my young child. Primary responsibilities included managing nutrition support (tube feedings and TPN) and ensuring high-quality medical nutrition therapy was being provided.

-Drove a high level awareness and subsequent HCP recommendations and consumer endorsement of Nestlé GERBER products within the medical channel through activation of the Gerber® Nutrition System amongst targeted institutions (Hospitals -Term and NICU, Pediatricians, Obstetricians, Neonatologists, Public Health Agency State WIC Clinicians, Dietitians and Nurse Management). Ranked in the Top 10 Nationally for Gerber usage in target hospitals. • Launched the first Qualified Health Claim for an infant formula to promote an Allergy Risk Reduction • Launch of premature products for the NICU and probiotic drops to hospital clinicians. • Managed and coordinated appropriate business projects such as local speaker events to achieve shared business goals and sales objectives within the state • Maintained strong selling skills, product knowledge as well as territory and management plans to accomplish short and long term business goals • As a National Field Trainer: Trained new medical delegates virtually and in-person • As a Gerber Mentor: Was assigned to new medical delegates and had weekly calls to help guide their business and ensure success • As South Carolina State Lead: remained up-to-date on changes to state WIC contract and communicated new strategy to state team members • As a representative at the National American Academy of Pediatrics meeting, was nominated to represent Gerber four years in a row • As a multiple Nestle Gold, Silver and Bronze award winner, I was recognized for leadership behaviors in and out of the field Exceeded target goals for premature formula usage by 300% during the launch year. Exceeded all target goals/quota annually.

Provided medical nutrition therapy to patients in hospitals in South Florida and the Charleston, SC area. Specialties included pediatric and neonatal critical care, high-risk maternity, post GI surgery, and nutrition support. Cross coverage among hospitals under the Morrison Management Systems umbrella. Collaborated with multidisciplinary health care team (including physicians, pharmacists, etc) to ensure highest level of care to patients.

Provided Medical Nutrition Therapy to expecting women diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities included coordinating delivery of prescriptions with patient, pharmacy, and insurance. Provided education on proper monitoring of blood sugars utilizing a glucometer, and when appropriate how to administer insulin subcutaneously.
