Currently, I provide evening Case Management and Group Facilitation to women transitioning from Incarceration and/or Drug Rehabilitation. My duties include identifying the necessary supports, resources,and services to yield a successful transition back into the community. Specifically, exploring housing options, securing employment and other supports like mental health and substance abuse services. I also facilitate groups on Developing Healthy Relationships, and Family Reunification.

In collaboration with the Regional Training Coordinator, assisted in supervision of the daily administrative and learning operations for staff of the Department of Juvenile Services. Provided staff development to all Field Unit and Facility staff in the Metro and Southern Regions (approx 390 staff), in order to ensure the proficiency in job duties and programs, services, and supervision for youth in DJS care. Facilitated training and monitor staff compliance with required Maryland Commission professional training hours.

Provide a range of casework management services at Virginia’s Maximum/Multi level Security Prison for Women. Facilitated Evidence Based Practice programming, and provide therapeutic intervention and guidance for offenders in a correctional facility to enhance the security of the facility and promote offenders' long-term pro-social behaviors. Provide Re-entry and transitional resources and support. Conducted Risk Assessments, utilizing the Correctional Offender Management Profiling for Alternative Sanctions (COMPAS). Utilize the Virginia Correctional Information System (CORIS) database for documentation and communication purposes. Facilitate Cognitive Behavior Programming to female offenders housed in the Facility’s Structured Living Units. Sat on Evidence Based Practice Learning Teams, providing research, statistical information, and valuable input on how to create a more effective rehabilitative environment for both staff and offenders.

All Administrative duties: established the LLC of the music group, booking of events, coordinating the schedules of ministry engagements and travel plans. Designed T-shirts and other items, and coordinated the delivery of merchandise and CD project.
