Lauren Gracie

I am currently a design engineer with experience in 3D modelling and technical design, combining creativity with precision to bring ideas to life. With an organised approach and a strong eye for detail, I enjoy turning complex concepts into clear, practical solutions while keeping collaboration at the centre of my work. I enjoy collaborating with teams across different disciplines and bringing structure to complex challenges. My goal is to continue growing my expertise, develop my project management skills, and take on opportunities where I can support both the technical and organisational sides of engineering. Key things I am proud of from over the years include, taking part in several competitions as an apprentice. In 2019 I was the runner up for ‘Apprentice of the Year’ in Ayrshire. I also entered the ‘Apprenticeship Community Challenge’ which involved creating a project that gave back to my local community. After making it through the semi finals, I went onto winning the regional competition, then going onto winning the Nationals Competition for Scotland in March 2020. “The time is long overdue to encourage more women to dream the possible dream” ~ Sheryl Sandberg
