As an HR Intern at BIC, I assisted the recruiting/talent acquisition process by updating employee records with new hire information, screening resumes, and directing potential candidates to the appropriate manager. I posted job positions, brainstormed and organized company events, and improved company culture through internal communications via Slack and Google Suite. I also helped create and continue to update the HR page on Notion. I used Google Meet to mass schedule stay interviews with employees across the world with drastically different time zones.

I was a research assistant for two psychology labs at the University of Oklahoma! For the Industrial/Organizational Psychology lab, I helped a graduate student conduct a literature review to find articles related to burnout and discrimination. For the Social Psychology lab, I assisted in data collection by overseeing 63 participants, and I conducted research about body image in the LGBT+ community and how it may lead to different health behaviors.

I led a group of 50 college students per semester to facilitate their learning by engaging and regularly communicating with them. I wrote weekly announcements to my team as well as the entire class using GroupMe and Canvas, and I created suggested schedules using Canva.

I tutored two kindergarten students in reading and writing twice a week. I regularly assessed their knowledge and strategically adapted the lesson plan to fit their individual needs.
