Coached high school students from China through the US and UK college admissions process, to include: creation of individualized strategic plans and school lists, activity/extracurricular portfolio building, essay planning and editing, and interview prep.

● Provided crisis intervention and support as part of Administrator On-Call rotation (2-3 weeks per semester). Co-Facilitated "Intergroup Dialogue on Race and Gender," a course offered through the Education Department. The class of 20 undergraduate and graduate students explored both differences and commonalities across and within race and gender, as well as dialogued about issues pertaining to systems of oppression and privilege.

● Selected to assist the Master of Education in Student Affairs (MSA) admissions committee in selecting the MSA entering class of fall 2014 to the Graduate School of Education and Information Studies (GSE&IS). ● Coordinated organization of “Preview Day” to orient and launch newly admitted graduate students to the program and university.

Adjudicated student misconduct cases that were referred by Dean of Students Office for further review.

● Supervised, advised, and trained 16 Resident Assistants and Hill Government Representatives (HGRs) in program development, implementation, and assessment, for a co-educational residential community of 450 undergraduates. ● Oversaw over 50 individual, group, and staff-initiated activities and events for residential community per quarter. ● Received a departmental “On the Spot” award for “conceiving of, planning, and executing large scale programs throughout the year outside of normal job description.” ● Co-facilitated ORLI Learning Institute, a four-week leadership program to instruct candidates about the department and RA position, and provide a space for candidates to explore social justice perspectives and student development theory. ● Received certified training in sexual assault prevention and allyship for undocumented students

● First contact for academic information, disciplinary concerns for 450 undergraduate students residing in Eliot House residential community. Liaison with faculty and administrators regarding student concerns. ● Supported Resident Dean in all aspects of weekly student conduct casework procedures. ● Created senior check document for graduating seniors to streamline commencement programming, review of graduation requirements process, and shift ownership of the degree audit process to the student. Document became model for colleagues at other residential communities. ● Co-developed an online data collection system to update and improve efficiency of the Eliot House Pre-Med Committee student application process.

Advised 4 freshman advisees; Met monthly to discuss academic, professional, and personal concerns.

● Supported Office of the Senior Associate Dean with high-level administrative and clerical support for Executive Education programs, Diplomatic Training programs, and the Global Master of Arts Program. Projects included: correspondence with prospective students; preparation of executive education program proposals for prospective students/organizations/agencies; database management; and logistical preparation and language support for residency program in Buenos Aires, Argentina. ● Co-organized the school's first symposium in partnership with the World Economic Forum; Secured panelists, created advertisements, and recruited student volunteers, and managed event planning.

● Managed the Berklee City Music Mentoring Program (CMMP) for 30 middle and high school students: designing program curriculum, overseeing mentor-mentee matching, evaluating student engagement and development, and organizing and producing End-of-the-Year CMMP Recital performance. ● Supervised 40 CMMP Berklee College undergraduate student Mentors; arranged pedagogical trainings, regular evaluations, and provided them with guidance and resources to teach and coach the students. ● Supervised department’s work-study students.

● Presented 62 disaster preparedness and health and safety workshops to over 900 youth (ages 5-24) in high-risk, low-income communities in the ARCMB jurisdiction. ● Assisted with programming and volunteer outreach opportunities of the Youth Advisory Board (YAB) and the ARCMB High School and College Red Cross Clubs. ● Helped start a new Red Cross High School Club (The Newman School) and College Club (Northeastern University). ● Co-planned and managed annual Youth Programs Talent Competition, a program that showcases youth talent and brings awareness to the volunteer efforts of the Red Cross youth clubs. ● Developed the FY2011 Communications Plan and the FY2011 Events Calendar for the Youth Programs Department. ● Prepared and distributed a survey index to measure civic responsibility among Red Cross youth volunteers. AmeriCorps VISTA is a national service program designed to alleviate poverty. President John F. Kennedy originated the idea for VISTA, which was founded as Volunteers in Service to America in 1965, and incorporated into the AmeriCorps network of programs in 1993. AmeriCorps VISTA members make a year-long, full-time commitment to serve on a specific project at a nonprofit organization or public agency. They focus their efforts to build the organizational, administrative, and financial capacity of organizations that fight illiteracy, improve health services, foster economic development, and otherwise assist low-income communities.
