Project Children Internship Programme. A Digital Media Strategy was launched for SHW, around the time when social media was rapidly becoming a front-runner in effective marketing communications. In addition, Social Media Marketing was a brand new concept to the firm. This was devised in line with SHW's overall business objectives and was implemented across social media platforms and a newly structure website. SHW resulted in heightened brand awareness across the state of Connecticut. In addition, relationships with clients, suppliers, corporate partners, government bodies the local residents of Bridgeport overall strengthened as further trust and credibility had been achieved.

I worked as part of a small team to plan, network and facilitate for 'Special Olympic Ireland's Annual Collection Day'​ across the North of Ireland. This included an ongoing volunteer recruitment drive, close liaison with Special Olympic Ireland's corporate partners and sponsors and general Event Management duties. At the outset, our prime aim was to raise €1M, and I'm proud to say... that was accomplished!

Achieved professional recognition through memberships in the IOD, CIMA and Women In Business. In addition, I hold an accreditation in SAS Enterprise Miner Data Software gained during completion of the MSc Marketing course at QUB. The MSc Marketing programme was designed to equip the next generation of marketing professionals with the necessary conceptual, analytical and practical skills required by firms to compete in the hyper-competitive, dynamic and global marketplace that epitomises business today. The core philosophy running through the MSc Marketing is that professional, contemporary and accountable marketing practice adds significant value to a firm’s operation and performance.

The BSc Business Studies degree was created to prepare a student for a career in business management in industry, commerce or the public sector. In essence, it focuses on the acquisition and application of knowledge relevant to the role of the manager in today's dynamic business environment. The course enabled me with copious of opportunities to develop and enhance a range of personal and interpersonal transferable skills; vital for successful performance in the workplace.
