Program manager for the Cyber Security Data Science Program at a Federal Defense agency. Work is used to enhance agency-wide continuous monitoring and cyber risk management. Led the capability from the ground up, including identifying the need and persuading the client to adopt data science, setting the vision for the program, and identifying a strong team to support the new capability. Worked with offices across the agency to build use cases and gain access to new data sources, as well as to ensure that the team had access to the right tools and resources to accomplish their mission. Worked closely with the Chief Information Security Officer and the Chief of the Risk Management Group to help determine the strategic direction and the role of the Data Science program within the Cyber Security Office and to secure the necessary funding.
