About
Laura Wagenknecht is a freelance producer and editor for film, print and online media based in East Africa. Her focus is on stories from Sudan about the crisis, people’s lives and culture, in addition to EU politics in Sudan and Africa. She worked for the daily science program, Galileo (Pro Sieben, Germany), as well as for ZDF German public TV and Deutsche Welle. Her print and online articles got published in Germany, Austria and America. Laura did her Master of Science at the University of Bremen in marine geoscience, with a focus on climate change and geochemistry.
