* Volunteered for a children's grief camp two years in a row. * Worked with 4-6 year old group and the next year worked with adolescents. * Assisted in creative camp activities that focused on children's grief. * Facilitated one on one conversations about the deceased family member during activities.

This organization provided anonymous support to clients who would write about a concern they were having. I examined incoming "Spills" and promptly responded with counsel and advice. Provided additional sources of help and possible resource centers for the Spillers to utilize.

* Contacted bereaved caregivers of hospice patients who’ve passed away 6+ months ago. * Documented these phone call interactions through Amplicare, LLC. * Recorded the outcomes of these calls to determine their effectiveness. * Shadowed staff (pastors, nurses, social workers) out in the field & offered support to clients.

Visited a school in Bloomington, IN once a week to spend lunch with my Little. We would play games, talk about the future, and frequently discuss any problems at home.

Offered companionship to patient at bed side. Made bereavement phone calls to those who lost a loved one on our program.

* Helped adults cope with severe mental illness by co-leading group sessions. * Supported clients in living healthier lives through cooking classes, cleaning sessions, etc. * Maintained case files and organized paperwork.

The Community Thrift Shop collaborated with Middleway House to provide women who had experienced domestic violence a place to buy clothing and other necessities. I organized donations and worked at the register when needed.

* Determining the epidemiology of pediatric myalgic encephalomyelitis * Conduct semi-structured interviews with children and their parents using the Kiddie-Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia (K-SADS). * Integrate data to create 'patient report summaries' for physician assessment. * Administer ActiGraph monitors to measure and analyze participant’s activity levels. * Manage data files used for tracking participants in Excel and REDCap, an online survey tool. * Assist with structured intakes over the phone to assess a child's symptoms and activity. * Developed questionnaire to assess barriers to health care and quality of care patients receive (recruited 2,000 patients). * Had the opportunity to present data to the CEO of a large patient organization.

* Investigating the cost of cancer treatment and how this particular stressor affects patients over time * Recruit patients who have various types of cancer by phone and Facebook posts. * Develop Excel documents to track participant recruitment and retention. * Manage participant data in Excel and REDCap, an online survey tool.
