I assisted the Franworth family of brands in appropriately defining and documenting each brand platform and carving out its mission, vision, values, key messages, and brand identity. I also worked to provide the necessary tools and techniques needed to obtain and maintain success. Working with The Lash Lounge, I assisted with rapid company growth by redefining the brand platform, running focus groups, identifying target personas, defining its value proposition, and creating a full suite of evergreen sales and training tools. I founded Little Nest Portraits in order to provide families with a creative, collaborative atmosphere in which they could enjoy superb imagery and ultimately enjoy the experience the joys of boutique-quality photography at more affordable, family-friend rates. • Hired qualified and experienced photographers • Established marketing plan and led other photographers through the process of creating beautiful pictures in a uniform manner • Grew two studio locations to over 1.2M in revenue. _____ Little Nest Portraits is a franchise of boutique children’s photo studios specializing in maternity photography, newborn photography, and family portraits. Its studios are independently owned and feature natural light and talented photographic artists offering the highest quality products. The foundation of Little Nest is an artistic philosophy that blends classic portraiture with spontaneity and emotion. We have a focus on guest experiences traditionally only found in upscale retail outside the photography space. After the photos are captured, our guests enjoy selecting from beautifully merchandised walls where the creative concepts on display are easily duplicated in your own home. Our studios offer every amenity needed to enhance the experience of families. Our guests find that we are a collaborative team of talented professionals, and that we have a passion for working with parents and their children. As part of our Heirloom Membership program, we offer pre-natal yoga classes, instructions on how to use your own camera at home, and invitations to exclusive PhotoPOP events at the studio.

I started my career as an independent wedding and portrait photographer at age 23 and was met with swift success. My work was recognized by the Professional Photographers Association of America and the Wedding and Portrait Photography Association; and, in 2007, Kodak named me one of its “Two Photographers to Watch” in the nation. I had the honor of speaking on the business of photography across the country, holding my own classes and workshops as well as appearances at national and international photography conventions. Yet, all of this success left me lacking. Throughout my travels, I met so many overworked, overwhelmed independent photographers with little to no life balance. At the same time many of my customers wanted high quality, modern, unique imagery, but the options were limited to either mass-market chain studios that prized volume over ambiance, or extremely expensive custom photo sessions only available to a small percentage of families with people like myself. From there, the idea of Little Nest Portraits was born.
