Laura Kowalczuk

Scientific Research Associate @ Swiss Medical Network

About

With a strong background in ophthalmology research, particularly in innovative drug delivery approaches and advanced retinal imaging technologies, I have coordinated translational research projects within multidisciplinary teams involving biologists, physicists, and ophthalmologists. During the past five years, my work has focused on the clinical development and applications of a high‑resolution retinal imaging technology developed by the EPFL spin‑off EarlySight. I currently serve as a Scientific Research Associate at the Swiss Visio Retina Research Center (Lausanne), where I contribute to the management of research projects and clinical trials dedicated to developing new treatments for retinal diseases and improving patient care pathways.
