Responsible for handling general and legal risk related matters, including: - Negotiating, drafting and reviewing commercial contracts pertaining to international transport by road (in particular on the provision of logistics services as a 3PL), including tender documentation, Customer contracts, contracts with Service Providers and other third party vendors; - Advising and liaising with management on appropriate contract strategies; - Preparing documents and collecting legal signatures from management; - Maintaining and updating contract database; - Delivering advice and ensuring effective co-operation with 'internal clients' and outside business partners. Ability to summarize complex legal concepts and ensure effective communication with internal non-legal stakeholders; - Maintaining and updating contract templates and general terms and conditions; - First point of contact on general legal inquiries, ranging from a variety of topics (e.g. employment law, privacy and data) and liaising with internal and/or external legal advisors as may be necessary; - First point of escalation in case of legal disputes.

As a Works Council member, my aim is to represent the employees while working in collaboration with management in order to implement and initiate any change that has a large impact in the best possible way.
