Led agency Cybersecurity program to improve operational security, balance compliance and improve the cybersecurity workforce in skill and diversity. - Managed agency-wide $90+M cybersecurity program that employed 100+ federal and 250+ contract employees to proactively protect 70,000+ assets contained within a portfolio of over 1000 applications and services across FAA’s National Airspace System, Mission Support, and Research & Development environments. - Drove improvement of SOC process, tooling, architecture, compliance, and collaboration with the NAS Cyber Operations. - Led the Cybersecurity Executive Steering Committee as the Risk Executive of the Agency coordinating and collaborating Cybersecurity policy, initiatives, funding, strategy, and assures consistent risk acceptance decisions across the FAA enterprise. - Facilitated agency-wide implementation of 2021 cybersecurity Executive Order requirements. - Prioritized the Cybersecurity workforce at the FAA, with focus on training, retention, hiring, and diversity. - Worked closely with Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security through initiation and leadership of the cross-agency Aviation Cyber Initiative (ACI) to improve cyber resiliency across the aviation sector. - Provided executive direction and oversight for FAA’s cybersecurity training exercises, both internal as well as those facilitated by the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security. - Provided Congressional testimony on FAA’s cybersecurity resiliency

Provided executive direction and oversight for FAA’s application development, application sustainment, enterprise architecture, and information delivery services. - Lead as co-chair of the FAA Enterprise Architecture Board, which governs the FAA National Airspace System (NAS) and Mission Support Architectures. - Assured FAA adhered to Federal statutory and regulatory Enterprise Architecture (EA) requirements, to align IT decisions with business and investment strategies. - Provided executive leadership for implementing compliance with relevant federal regulations, including FISMA, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and FAA/DOT policies.

Provided tactical leadership of FAA's information security and privacy programs to ensure that FAA systems and services are protected against persistent and continuous cyber security and privacy threats. Lead the FAA SOC was transformed to leverage updated methodologies which took full advantage of cyber threat intelligence and applied it to a use-case driven and mission-oriented 24x7 security operations center. - Chaired the Cybersecurity Steering Committee working group which executed enterprise initiatives such as the development and annual updates to the FAA Cybersecurity Strategy. - Provided tactical leadership to efforts to reorganize the funding and operations within the cybersecurity service in alignment with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).
