- Worked on The National Measles/Polio Immunization Campaign in Lebanon in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health and UNICEF. Translated, transcribed then analyzed the collected data for several INGOs projects including UNICEF’s Neighborhood Profiling project for disadvantaged areas in Lebanon and Mercy Corps’s impact evaluation of the IJMAA program. - Elaborated progress & final reports for projects. - Participated in the initiation of concepts and ideas for call for proposals and the writing of technical proposals.

Intern at YAPAKA, a child abuse prevention program initiated by the ministry of Wallonia-Brussels federation of Belgium in 1998. - Designed a key-informant interview (KII) tool guide. - Recruited subjects & conducted the KIIs for « Les ateliers de la pensée joueuse », an anti-violence in school prevention training offered for school teachers, psychologists or counselors. The aim was to evaluate the efficacy of the training and the continuity of its activities in the classrooms. - Wrote a key-findings report. - Assessed different ways to promote the training and spread the information of the workshop to potential stakeholders.

- Provided inpatient dietary consultations for hospital patients. Worked with cancer, renal, dyslipidemic and diabetic patients. As well as provided breastfeeding and post-partum diets for new mothers. - Assessed food quality and safety in the hospital’s kitchen based on HACCP guidelines. -Participated in the nutrition awareness campaign on World Kidney Day. -Provided basic nutrition education for elementary school children who visited the hospital during their field-trip.

Graduated with Distinction Thesis title: “Health literacy and the link between nutrition and cardiovascular health among women coming from a low socio-economic background in Lebanon: what is their perception regarding this issue? A qualitative study.”
