Landon Douvlos

I’m a Plastics Engineering Technology student at Penn State Behrend with real-world experience in injection molding, process development, and simulation. At Accudyn Products, I’ve had the chance to work on high-precision molding projects for medical, automotive, and consumer markets. I’ve been involved in sampling, troubleshooting, and hands-on mold work, which has helped me build a strong foundation in manufacturing and part quality. I also interned at Superior Tire & Rubber Corp, where I worked with tooling and machine setup while learning about rubber and plastic molding for industrial and transportation applications. At school, I’m currently co-leading a senior project sponsored by 3M focused on improving process monitoring and part quality in injection molding. The project includes experimental work, data collection, and simulation using Moldflow. I’m experienced with SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, Moldflow, ANSYS Workbench, Minitab, Microsoft Teams, and Monday.com. I’m always looking to build on what I know and grow into a role where I can combine hands-on work, simulation, and data-driven process improvement.
