I've been working in the hospitality industry since I was legally allowed to. During school breaks and weekends, I have worked in Restaurants and beachbars, all small and local businesses. I enjoy the high speed environment and the customer-centric approach. Never a boring moment!

During my internship at Nu Skin, I was in charge of redesigning the customer remuneration program, called Award Suite, where I worked on the international logistics process. This process also included aspects at the intersection of customer satisfaction, international logistics, and communications. Using Total Quality Management techniques, mainly Lean Six Sigma (+DMAIC cycle), I visualised, optimized & communicated this process. This resulted in a 65% reduction in run-through time and an 8% decrease in the error rate. Beyond this, it also ensured that measures were implemented for the continuous improvement of the process. This led to projections nearly doubling this reduction. Furthermore, there were significant measurable impacts on customer satisfaction, brand affiliate loyalty, and motivation, leading to increased sales overall, while decreasing the costs of the process. This project was coupled with my bachelor’s thesis, earning me a high distinction. It also further confirmed my ability to gain insight into, systemize, and optimize processes through standardization, a practice I intend to continue pursuing in future opportunities.

HR Consul is an HR services provider. They assist a large amount of internationally renowned logistical companies with HR-related questions: 1. Selection and recruitment 2. Social legislation & payroll 3. Training, Evaluation & remuneration policy for employees 4. Organisation, project management & other HR Consulting My internship focussed mainly on 3 of the 4 pillars + Other Selection and recruitment (1): Expanding the network, attending and representing HRConsul at networking events, headhunting, Recruitment on LinkedIn, conducting interviews with potential employees, .. Training, evaluation & remuneration policy (3): I was onboarded on the project with CEWEZ vzw. They enlisted the help of Anje to create clear job descriptions for each department's employees, teamleaders and upper management. I attended meetings and took notes to make up several of these detailed job descriptions. I also aided in creating BSC's. Organisation, project management & other HR consulting(4): The project at CEWEZ vzw also included knowledge of general project management and a deep understanding of company structure. Other - internal process optimalisation - social media management of company social platforms: copywriting, digital design, strategic planning - writing job listings - I worked in an allround and flexible way, taking up what needed to be done What made me successful in this internship was my driven and motivated nature. I was a great fit for the company because of my ability to finish tasks independently while also taking intiative to perform new and challenging tasks. My growth mindset helped me take feedback in a constructive way to continuously level up my work and grow in the role.

Demonstrated stong alaytical and critical thinking skills. Supported selected organizations in implementing funded projects.

I had the privilege of volunteering for two weeks with Roeland vzw at Sutton Valence School, where I honed my teaching skills, leadership abilities, and assertiveness while actively participating in intercultural communication and relations initiatives. I played a key role in lesson planning and organizing activities, all while collaborating within a dynamic team. This experience reinforced my passion for didactics and intercultural education, inspiring me to pursue further opportunities in this field.
