​I am a driven Polymer Technology undergraduate at the Institute of Technology, University of Moratuwa, with a strong foundation in rubber compounding and manufacturing processes. My hands-on experience in the Research & Development department at Samson's Rubber Industries (DSI Tyres) allowed me to lead impactful projects, including achieving a 10% cost reduction in bicycle tire treads using reclaim rubber and developing heat-resistant gloves for press operators. ​Beyond formulation and testing, I pride myself on my practical technical capabilities. My skillset includes manpower management, proficient handling of laboratory equipment, and machine maintenance and repair. I combine these technical skills with a solid understanding of quality standards, holding a Lean Six Sigma White Belt certification. I am eager to apply my leadership skills and technical expertise to new challenges in the polymer and rubber industries.
