In this position I taught courses of the Microsoft official Systems Engineer curriculum, having both certifications in MCSE and MC Trainer. The courses comprehended the areas of networking, operating systems, mail, database and management systems.

As a trainer for Unisys I built and taught courses on the subjects of operating systems, networking, Microsoft Office.

In this position I helped to implement a Project Management Office in a city council. Some of the tasks include defining project templates and standards, preparing a common technical and conceptual ground for meetings, probing and assessing future PMO holders' skills, identifying and proposing adaptation of workflows, and enlightening people on the necessity and advantages of a PMO, both for the organization and for their personal workload.

In this position, I have attended conferences and workshops. Furthermore, I have worked in proposals and participated in several initiatives where INESC-ID was the sponsor. Part of the research in my PhD time was funded by this institution.

As an assistant teacher in UAL, I have been responsible for the courses Computers Architecture and Systems and Networks Management. I also took care of Digital Circuits for a few months. In all these courses and also in Human-Machine Interfaces and Algorithms I taught theoretical and laboratorial classes. Other responsibilities included preparing the material for lectures, bibliography, tests and examinations, discussing the curriculum and evaluating the students.

In this position I taught Sun Solaris and Network courses.

I got certifications as a trainer in Sun Solaris and Network and taught courses on operating systems and networking for ICL as a free-lancer.
