Responsibilities included providing project management, process design and process safety engineering, product QA and inspection services for various clients in the chemical, petrochemical, construction and mining industry: - Chevron North America, SJVBU and San Ardo Fields , CA (2013-2015) Responsibilities: As a fully vetted Chevron SIS/SOA Facilitator, performed Process Hazard Analysis and Safety Objective Analysis (HAZOP/LOPA) for the various processing facilities for the past 3 years. - Tesoro Refinery – Long Beach, CA (2014-2015) Responsibilities: Compliance Revalidation of the Process Hazard Analysis of the Alky Unit. - Southern California Gas Company – Chattsworth, CA (2015) Responsibilities: Process Hazard Analysis for the Aliso Canyon Turbine Replacement Project. - Freeport McMoRan Copper & Gold Company – Phoenix, AZ (2010-present) Responsibilities: General process and process safety engineering services for several plants throughout the world including facilities in Arizona, DRC, and Peru. Also, in charge of reviewing (as a third party consultant) the Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), as well as the Functional Specification for different process areas within the Plant. All projects were managed within budget and schedule. - Jacobs Engineering – Denver, CO (2011) Responsibilities: HAZOP Facilitator for the Climax project (5 month study). The project was managed within budget and schedule. - Fluor Corporation – Total Petrochemicals USA, Inc. in Houston, Texas (2008) Responsibilities: HAZOP Facilitator performing Hazard and Operability Analysis for Coker Unit of their refinery in Port Arthur, Texas. - General Inspections- various regions within US, Responsibilities: Managing product inspections for multiple large scale production and construction companies, implementing quality assurance programs for manufacturing facilities, representing government agencies for quality assurance and inspection at the manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities included: - Modularize the design of the existing Re-refining plant in Northern California - Establish vendors (equipment, structural steel, instrumentation, etc. …) and engineering firms overseas - Write/review proposals for clients throughout the world - Perform front-end design, develop process flow diagrams/heat and material balance, and customize the plant design to each client’s desired flow rate and plant layout. - Perform, review design calculations (relief valves, equipment sizing, line sizing, etc. …) - Manage the P&ID development and equipment/structural procurement - Coordinate the logistics and scheduling of various projects

Projects/responsibilities included: - Catalytic Gasoline Desulfurizer (SZorb), Phillips Petroleum Company, Ferndale, Washington (2002 -2004); Responsibilities: Process Lead Engineer for detail engineering of the Dynawave Scrubber system, Make-up Air Compressor and Regeneration Gas Compressor for the new Catalytic Gasoline Desulfurizer Unit at Phillips 66 Ferndale Refinery - Syncrude Plant 18-1 LGO Hydrotreater, Syncrude Canada, Mildred Lake, Alberta, Canada (2002); Responsibilities: Facilitation of the Hazard and Operability Analysis to evaluate the design of Plant 18-1 LGO Hydrotreater - Hamaca Crude Upgrader Project Petrolera Ameriven, Jose, Venezuela (2000-2001); Responsibilities: Detail engineering of the Hydroprocessing Unit and Hazard and Operability Analysis for various units including the Coker & Coke Handling Unit, Sulfur Recovery Unit, Tail Gas Treating Unit, Amine Regeneration Unit, Hydrogen Recovery Unit, Acid Gas Recovery Unit, and Sour Water Stripper Unit. - Refinery Revamp, Engen, Durban, South Africa (1999); Responsibilities: Process Lead Engineer for debottlenecking of a Vacuum/Crude Unit within the refinery. - Refinery Upgrade Project, Irving Oil Limited, Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada (1998 - 2000); Responsibilities: Process Lead Engineer for the design of a grassroots integrated Crude/Vacuum Distillation Unit and detailed engineering of the unsaturated gas plant of the RFCCU Project. - Ruwais Refinery Expansion, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, UAE (1995 - 1997); Responsibilities: Facilitation of the Hazard and Operability Analysis for various units including the Sour Water Stripper, Amine Treating Unit, and the Sulfur Recovery Units - Sulcis IGCC Project, Texaco Development Corporation, Weisbaden, Germany (1997); Responsibilities: Performed as the Safety expert/consultant to oversee the Preliminary HAZOP review that was performed by ABB Lummus as part of the Preliminary Engineering Package
