Over my 19+ years of industry experience I have been responsible for overseeing the electrical design aspects of large construction projects using BIM software. I have been a leader among my team, ensuring that electrical systems (such as power distribution, lighting, data, av, security and fire alarm) are accurately integrated into the BIM model. I collaborate with other disciplines, ensure design accuracy and code compliance, and maintain quality control throughout the project. My role also involves project management tasks, such as monitoring timelines and resources, and using BIM tools like Revit or AutoCAD to create detailed designs. I have been a team mentor and a team cheerleader.
