Branch management of facilities, budget and supervision of 22 employees. Included hiring process, employee evaluations, budget planning, coordination of employee training, and maintaining operations. Managed the internal office hiring process. This included determining the needs of the agency, and working directly with the Human Resource Department to coordinate hiring. Customer service duties, to include handling customer grievances and/or disgruntled clients.

Managed the State of Oregon budget for the Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program ($5-12 million dollar budgets awarded annually). Directly responsible for the oversight of all agency contracts, from development of the Request for Bids through project execution, and completion. Developed complex documents for training and systems management for 9-1-1 dispatch , writing emergency response plans, and creating presentations for various meetings and conferences.

Managed all aspects of a government agency office with a staffing of six personnel. Answered calls and in-person inquiries about the program and services. Coordinate large scale contracts for major renovation of local schools and medical facilities to provide enhanced protection to residents and visitors. Coordinated funding and procurement of critical emergency response equipment for local police, fire and medical agencies. Developed training materials and improved response plans for agencies to use during disasters to provide safety to children, elderly, and the unstable and/or infirm individuals.

Coordinate major community events, assist local businesses promote services and events, coordinate monthly chamber luncheons. Seek new members through networking and advertising. Development of brochures, flyers, social media advertising and annual visitor guide, including marketing and sales of advertising, creation of customer advertisements and assistance in development of business cards and campaign items. Responsible for all admitting processes in a temporary morgue operation during a disaster. Work includes preparing and organizing intake paperwork for disaster victims. Includes development of a tracking system unique to the disaster, and for assigning a tracking number to each victim. Provide planning and logistical assistance to the morgue management team, and assure security of facility.
