I obtained my lifeguard certificate to be able to assist swimmers in potential dangerous situations as well as those beginning to drown. I was certified to perform CPR and use an AED. I assisted in providing swimming lessons as well as assisting scouts to earn their badges based on swimming. I also assisted in answering questions about the pool, pricing in memberships, and answering the phone.
