Kyle Clay

I am a fourth-year student at Texas A&M University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Subsequent to the completion of my undergraduate studies, I intend on seeking enrollment in a dual JD/MBA postgraduate program to fulfill my ultimate career aspiration of becoming a corporate attorney — and practicing business law with a concentration in securities regulation and corporate governance. In addition to academic pursuits during my tenure at Texas A&M, I also accumulated valuable professional experience in the finance and accounting industry. In my current position, as a student intern for Financial Management Operations at Texas A&M University Division of Finance, I perform advanced accounting, financial and administrative tasks for TAMU and the TAMU System — a (system-wide) total endowment valued at more than $18 billion. More specifically, I mastered fundamental accounting functions such as ledger/fund analysis, cost analysis, fund reconciliation, posting, analyzing trends and fiscal control of inventory. Beyond my academic and professional endeavors, I dedicate my free time to my passion for aviation: I am a certified private pilot (PPL) with over 100 hours of total flight time. As a pilot, I seek to explore the United States through general aviation flying — using small, single-engine aircraft to navigate the nation’s vast airspace. I am an aspiring JD/MBA Candidate seeking internship opportunities related to law or business — accounting, finance, and management.
