Kylash Ganesh

I am currently an undergraduate student at Brown University pursuing a double concentration in Applied Mathematics-Economics (Mathematical Finance) and Computer Science. My passion for the markets combined with academic pursuits in finance and technology have led me to be involved in several clubs at Brown, including The Intercollegiate Finance Journal, Brown Technology Consulting Group, Brown Socially Responsible Investment Fund, and Brown Investment Group. As an impact-focused leader dedicated to building lasting relationships, I was the leader of many clubs and organizations in high school. I was President of my school’s National Honors Society Chapter, 3-year Captain of the Boys’ Varsity Tennis Team, Founder and President of the Computer Science Club, and Captain of the Math Team. Outside of the classroom, I also co-founded ReMedic, a startup dedicated to relieving joint pain through an innovative Smart Knee Brace. I was also deeply involved with my town’s local food pantry and played an important role in adapting the pantry’s strategy during the pandemic to serve more people in need. Academic curiosity is another passion of mine where I maintain interests beyond my majors in topics such as Public Policy and Environmental Science. Other interests include building computers, weight-lifting, making expresso, and eating Italian food.
