Independent consultant and software architect, partnering with teams to design and deliver complex AI-enabled applications and scalable software architecture. Work spanned architecture, implementation guidance, and hands-on engineering to move from concept to production.

Led embedded software development for Google Nest devices, with deep ownership of device drivers and platform bring-up for key peripherals — including LEDs, camera modules, audio and Bluetooth. Device drivers & systems: Designed and implemented driver-level software for multiple subsystems, from early validation through stable product releases. Debugged and optimized a critical Bluetooth driver issue during pre-production — working across hardware and software to eliminate a defect that would have propagated into manufacturing. Supported board bring-up and hardware initialization, ensuring reliable early-stage validation and a clean path to feature integration. Leadership & cross-functional impact: Partnered with hardware engineering on schematic review, signal integrity considerations, and manufacturing readiness. Aligned with program and product stakeholders (EPMs, PMs, hardware) to prioritize fixes, manage risk, and keep milestones on track. Supported manufacturing ramp-up, helping bridge prototype software to production. Initiated internal tooling to improve debugging throughput and engineering productivity across the team.

Part of the Software Restore team working across iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple TV • Implemented, debugged, and optimized core subsystems of the Restore OS across iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. • Developed an automated bug-assignment tool leveraging log context analysis, improving team efficiency and reducing triage time.

Contributed as an early engineer on core embedded stack — high ownership in a small, fast-moving team. Led performance and platform initiatives (bootloader, video pipeline) that directly improved product experience. Built internal tools that streamlined workflows and raised team velocity.
