• Leading sustainability initiative by implementing Battery Energy Storage Solution (BESS) in largest facility in Canada to reduce global adjustment cost. Anticipated go-live date of September 2021 with estimated $170k annual saving. • Executed competitive bidding of wireless mobility in July 2020 to yield $471k saving over 3-Year term ($247k in year 1). • In 2019 successfully lead the execution of procurement platform migration within 14 weeks that involved 200+ users and 45 local trainers. • Manage procurement portfolio of total $40M that includes operational supplies, courier & logistics, IT, mobility, energy portfolio and professional services for US and Canada facilities. • Key player in Global and North America initiatives and reporting including RFx, vendor consolidation and standardization projects. • Review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts and amendments, to ensure company’s goals are met and all risks are mitigated. • Manage high level negotiations and develop a healthy vendor relationship to achieve corporate expectations. • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand the needs and make strategic recommendations, drive sourcing initiatives to positively impact finance and operation.

• Successfully executed North America RFP for lab consumables in July 2016, resulting in $113k signing bonus & $470k saving for both US and Canada. • Successfully execute procurement database consolidation in July 2018 (4 databases into 1), to increase efficiency and consistency. • Implement universal freight management system with rate shopping environment which increase cost optimization, improve visibility on transit time and promote process automation. • Manage and coach national procurement team (8 FTEs) serving 48 locations in Canada and 4 locations in the US. Create challenging goals, provide necessary tools, training and technical guidance to continuously increase level of expertise within the department. • Facilitate and manage national annual physical inventory count within specified timelines including all final GL adjustments in conjunction with Finance. • Develop, implement and improve Purchasing Policy to meet business needs. • Build contract database and provide restricted access to the Operations key users, to assist in monitoring and setting up their budget. • Build and distribute various reports to assist LOB Leaders to monitor P&L and purchase behavior. • Responsible for creating and maintaining department budget.

• 2014 Recipient of Value Award in recognition of professional performance and accomplishments during the year. • Manage a diverse group of 6 talented Purchasing Agents, to serve 24 locations Canada wide. Identify future training requirements to increase department performance and reduce No Added Value activities. • Successfully execute Document Storage RFP resulting $187k savings with multi-phase implementation process. • Onboard 2 new companies to the purchasing platform without any significant supply disruptions. • Assist 1 major lab build-out. • Manage Corporate Mobility, P-Card and Conference & Video Call programs to support day-to-day business requirements. • Identify and execute cost savings & cost avoidance initiatives across the organization through spend analysis, market assessment, best practices, research of new technology, potential vendors and solutions.

• Consistently exceed $60K annual savings target ($65k in 2007, $63k in 2008, $103k in 2009, $154k in 2010, $81k in 2011 and $119k in 2012). • Successfully executed RFPs: 1. Paper Shredding in 2011 that includes 23 locations, resulting in $20k savings. 2. Janitorial Service in 2009 that includes 3 Ontario locations, resulting in $26k savings. • Work closely with key suppliers during the monetary crisis in 2009, to bridge the gap between our DSO and payment term. Within 2 months, successfully converted 14 vendors from NET30 to NET45 • Initiate green procurement in 2008 by introducing and implementing electronic PO, Order Requisition and Order Confirmation. • Reduce duplicate orders and returns by 95% in less than 6 months after joining the organization. • Support Operations by carefully managing inventory to avoid any stock outs or supply disruptions, identify dead stock and recommend corrective action. • Assist in 1 major lab integration, with no supply disruption. • Participate in Kaizen/Continuous Improvement programs.
